Cleanup Location: Acequia Trail, behind the School for the Deaf
Meeting Address: BF Young Overflow parking lot, off Felipe Place, near 1300 Camino Sierra Vista.
Date & Time: TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 9, 8:00 a.m. -10:00 am.

Parking and Trail Details: The parking lot is behind homes and a chained fence off Felipe Place. I will set up our DoIT banner for extra visibility.

What to Bring & Wear: Please wear closed-toe WALKING shoes, dress in layers, and don’t forget sun protection (hats and sunscreen). I am going to point out the area is longer than 1 mile from end to end. We’ll be starting in the middle and moving in both directions, so walking shoes are highly recommended.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own grabbers, buckets, and reusable water bottles. Don’t forget your high-visibility hats, vests, or cooling towels (provided by our friends at DOT).

What’s Provided: Snacks, drinks, gloves, trash bags.

Administrative reminders: As a token of appreciation, participants will receive one hour of administrative leave. This is a great opportunity to connect with colleagues, enjoy the outdoors, and make a positive impact on our shared spaces.
